Chris Lu, one of the highest-ranking Asian Americans in the Obama Administration, has agreed to speak at the Summit's Gala Luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Harvard's Faculty Club. Lu was a Harvard Law School classmate of Obama's, but didn't know him well until he joined the newly elected senator's staff as legislative director in 2004. Lu headed Obama's presidential transition team and in his current position is the liaison between the President and the cabinet secretaries, coordinating their agencies' agendas and messages. He has run 18 marathons!
